Over the years, Dr. Alan G. Rosenberg has accrued numerous achievements, including having personally trained over 150 orthopedic residents and more than 100 orthopedic fellows. A prolific author, he has published hundreds of scientific papers. Moreover, Dr. Rosenberg has delivered over 1000 scientific presentations at meetings in the United States and across the world. Additionally, he possesses several patents related to hip and knee implant design. As such, Dr. Rosenberg has played an instrumental role in the design of multiple joint replacement devices, including The NexGen Knee, the VerSys Hip, the Zimmer Unicompartmental Knee, the ZMR Revision Hip System. Also, he is the co-editor of definitive textbooks on surgery of the hip, i.e., The Adult Hip-Lippincott (William & Wilkins, 2000) and the knee, i.e., The Adult Knee-Lippincott (William & Wilkins 2002). Aaron G. Rosenberg, MD, FACS, FAAOS, attended Albany Medical College in Albany, New York, and received his medical degree in 1978. Furthermore, he conducted his orthopedic surgery residency at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago, IL (1978-1983). In addition, he completed his fellowship training in adult reconstruction/oncology at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts. Dr. Rosenberg received board certification in orthopedic surgery from the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery. He remains an active member of the Knee Society, the Hip Society, and the International Society for Hip Arthroscopy, and has attained fellowship status with the American College of Surgeons (FACS) and the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (FAAOS).  Dr. Rosenberg is serving President of the Advisory Board of the Zimmer Institute.
